Materials:

First and foremost we use only Gold and Sterling Silver.  

We utilize cut and uncut precious (emerald, diamond, ruby, opal etc.) and semiprecious (garnet, topaz, tourmaline etc.) gems as well as uncut rough stone ( lapis, turquoise, agate etc).  We often cut our own slabs and form/polish our own stones (such as opal) and cabochons.

From gold and silver sheet and wire we utilize forging, drilling and fabricating techniques to fulfill the designs that Fran creates.  Often, Fran draws from her years of training and experience in Art Sculpture and Art History to inform her designs, as in the Kandinsky "faces" series.
